EARLY RIPENING: FRUIT OF MEDIUM SIZE BRIGHT ORANGE TO RED SKIN SMOOTH AND THIN PULP SWEET JUICY LITTLE ASTRINGENT , VERY SWEET WITHOUT SEEDS

 

SPECIAL TIPS:

Caki is a hardy plant resistant to cold, it is easily cultivated in fertile soils, possibly not calcareous, it bears fruit abundantly and resists diseases, Fruits of this cultivar are orange tending to red early ripening with a sweet and not very astringent flavor. If left on the plant they remain even after the leaves fall, giving a characteristic decorative appearance until late winter: the Cako Mela and Cako Vaniglia varieties can be consumed immediately because they are not astringent. It does not require any treatment.

Recommended planting distance : minimum 3 meters between plants.

Pruning: winter for containment and thinning of the foliage

 

PLANTING TIPS:

The potted plant can be planted all year round avoiding periods of frost or excessive drought, it is necessary to work the soil well and clean it from weeds after having prepared the hole free the plant from the pot avoiding breaking the clod and planting it keeping the point grafting on the surface, close the hole using soil mixed with fine earth, support the plant with a brace and wet abundantly. During the winter, carry out adequate pruning and organic fertilizations using products of natural origin suitable for organic cultivation!

 

IMPORTANT:

To obtain abundant productions it is always recommended to plant at least two different cultivars in order to guarantee good pollination.
